If you think you have what it takes, like a little challenge, this one is for you !
This ride will offer your two of the best and most epic gravel stretches we have experienced in Belgium ( picture below, straight groad is one of them ) !
But before arriving on top of Belgium and riding on these endless straight proper gravel groads, you will need to climb out of the Amblève and Rouannay valley.
This route takes you towards the Rosier sarting rather steep but all douable if you have the right gear and take it easy.
You will quickly be close to Francorchamps and above 500m altitude. Before arriving on the Hautes Fagnes best of all. Expect some river crossing along the way !
There are some short technicall fun single tracks around Solvaster to go through.
After this it is all pure heaven before riding back down to Coo !
Where to stop for a drink or food ?
KM 47,4 you will have the ‘ Peak Brasserie ‘ where they brew Belgian highest brewed beer, also served at Le Coffee Ride Cafe.
LEVEL : As this ride has some steep climbs at the start and a few technical sections up and down, we recommend this route for experienced off road riders.
Like a adventure ? Just go for it, you can always walk a bit, just be carefull …
