The Pro pre race recon

Nothing beats a good race watch on race day, but riding the course a few days before can also be an unforgettable experience. On most major classics and monuments like Liège Bastogne Liège, Tour of Flanders or Roubaix the riders and teams typically roll out in the morning for a team recon of the final 80 km.

Riding the final stretch yourself gives a unique up-close perspective, allowing you to feel the excitement building up towards race day.

Getting there 

The trip to the Strade and Siena which lies in central Italy is only 1hour drive south from Florence. 
Driving from Belgium will take you between 11 and 12 hours accross France and Switzerland and cities like Milan down to Bologna and Florence.

​If you decide to fly you can find direct flights to Florence and rent a car from there to drive the last hour south.
There are plenty of beautiful Italian houses to be rent in the region with breathaking views.
