A tent and two Gravel bikes, a stove and a campsite. Fine ingredients for a weekend of nature escape between Cap Blanc-Nez and Cap Gris-Nez on the west coast of France.
Direction “Les Ajoncs” campsite in Audresselles. An economical and down to earth solution if you like a basic campsite. The spot for tents is slidely away from other guest such as camping cars and caravans.
Get a morning coffee, baguettes and pain au chocolat at the bakery 1.2 km from the campsite.
Brewing you own coffee in the morning might be the best option though if you want the perfect kick of !
Using Komoot route planner you can check out the gravel and walking paths alongside the amazing coast line. Although the coastal path is closed for bikes sometimes with stairs and sometimes sandy, it is easy to leave the road to go to the seaside several times.
While the two capes are obviously the region’s must-sees, Fort Ambleuse is also something you don’t want to miss while being around.
