Going into the final fase of the creation of a Le Coffee Ride Bikepacking light range, late summer was ideal for a 3 day bike travel adventure.
We set of from Liège ( Visé ) towards Amsterdam passing Antwerp and the beautiful Zeeland region South West of the Netherlands.
Experiencing bike travel and making a final test for our prototype frame and saddle bags that are planned for production before the end of this year.
Stage 1 Visé ( Liège ) – Grobbedonk ( Antwerp ) : 125 km
Expect rolling roads and a negatif elevation as you are riding from Est towards the coast. Several cafés , greenfields in Limbourg and nice things to see along the way !
Check out the route details and dowload the gpx of stage 1 in the ‘ Rides ‘ section of the Exploration Page, click here
Stage 2 Antwerp ( from Grobbedonk ) – Ouddorp ( NL ) 162 km
Expect some trafic around Antwerp, good places to stop for coffee are @caffenationantwerpcity or @vitessecoffee
From here your ride up north crossing a part of the harbor towards Zeeland.
Yerseke is a nice village along the water to have a rest and try some Dutch sea food ( haring & kibbeling would be our suggestion )
From here it is al pure sea, water and dams towards Ouddorp crossing the famous ‘ Oosterscheldekering ‘ a impressive storm surge barrier dam.

The crossing is quick and easy, done in less that 15min passing the entrance of the industrial harbor of Rotterdam. From there your enter the dune paradise all the way to Harlem. We had a great stop at beachclubc Nordwijk , you might also like Branding beachclub 200m up north.
From here you enter some more natural beauty with endless dune roads before heading east towards the amazingly beautiful city Amsterdam !
